In Wa, day-old chicks that start strong and grow evenly pay off fastest — that is what the expanding poultry farms of the Upper West expect, and it is exactly what a local, single-source hatchery is built to deliver.
Agro Prime is a working hatchery, not a reseller. Our team runs computer-controlled incubators on a weekly hatch cycle, vaccinates every batch at the hatchery, and candles, grades and counts the day-old chicks before they leave us. Because we hatch locally, your birds are hours old — not days into a long import journey — when they reach you.

Our Upper West customers plan around scheduled runs and robust packaging that protect the birds across the long northern road. Distance is the main challenge this far north, so we plan Upper West orders around scheduled runs and robust packaging to protect the birds on the long road.
Whether you are raising birds for meat, eggs or resale, starting with strong, well-vaccinated stock is what protects your margin — and that is exactly what we focus on for every Wa order.
This far north the dry season and harmattan bring heat and dust, so shade, plenty of clean cool water, good ventilation and electrolytes in the first days matter even more. We load early and use ventilated crates so chicks travel through the heat in good shape.
