In Techiman, day-old chicks that start strong and grow evenly pay off fastest — that is what the vast Techiman market and its traders expect, and it is exactly what a local, single-source hatchery is built to deliver.
Agro Prime is a working hatchery, not a reseller. Our team runs computer-controlled incubators on a weekly hatch cycle, vaccinates every batch at the hatchery, and candles, grades and counts the day-old chicks before they leave us. Because we hatch locally, your birds are hours old — not days into a long import journey — when they reach you.

We deliver Day-Old Chicks to Techiman and nearby communities including Nkoranza, Kintampo, Tuobodom and Offuman. A longer haul, so we plan your order onto a scheduled run with early-morning loading, ventilated crates and water on arrival. Pickup at the hatchery in Kasoa is also welcome if you prefer to collect.
Our Techiman customers include market traders and grain-belt farmers who feed birds economically and want a strong start above all else. With maize and other grains cheap and plentiful locally, Techiman farmers can feed birds economically and focus on getting strong chicks to start with.
Whether you are raising birds for meat, eggs or resale, starting with strong, well-vaccinated stock is what protects your margin — and that is exactly what we focus on for every Techiman order.
This far north the dry season and harmattan bring heat and dust, so shade, plenty of clean cool water, good ventilation and electrolytes in the first days matter even more. We load early and use ventilated crates so chicks travel through the heat in good shape.
